Penn has been building a vigorous on-campus community since the first dormitory was designed in 1763. Now, more than two centuries later, the College Houses at Penn are eleven unique undergraduate residences - hubs of intellectual, social, and recreational activity. They stand at the center of the Penn undergraduate experience, bringing together undergraduates, faculty, staff and graduate students to form shared communities within the larger context of Penn's vibrant campus. | | | | Computing Help
Each College House has student Information Technology Advisors (ITAs) who provide the set-up help you need and who continue giving support throughout the semester whenever you have questions about computer technology. ITAs install Ethernet cards, assist with software applications, troubleshoot hardware problems, answer general computing questions, and offer educational workshops. | | | | New Student Orientation
New Student Orientation provides first-year students with an introduction to life at Penn -- academic advising, Proseminars, the Penn Reading Project, evening events, walking tours of Philadelphia, and more. | | | | Residential Advisory Board
The Residential Advisory Board aims to promote inter-house communication and events as well as advise the administration on issues affecting undergraduate residents. In particular, RAB serves as the official liaison between College House residents and two offices: College Houses & Academic Services, and Housing & Conference Services. Issues addressed by RAB include, but are not limited to: special events; safety and security; maintenance and facilities; move-in/move-out; renovations; computing safety; smoking; and development of future College Houses.
