Volunteer Day at the Farm at Bartram's Garden- Saturday, September 10th

What:

Join Fisher-Hassenfeld for a volunteer morning at the Farm at Bartram's Garden on Saturday, September 10th 9:30 AM - 1:30 PM. Students will travel together from the Quad to Bartram's Garden, located at 54th and Lindbergh streets in Southwest Philadelphia and assist in a variety of farm related activities. These can include: harvesting, planting, mulching, weeding and many others!

We ask participants to bring a water bottle and lunch or snacks, and hat and sunscreen if necessary. Please wear clothes you don't mind getting dirty that are appropriate and safe for working outdoors. This means close toed shoes, long pants, and t-shirts or long sleeves (no sleeveless shirts) that will provide protection from sharp tools, sun, and possible ticks and poison ivy, and be appropriate for working with our high school interns.

Please be in touch with your RA/GA if you are interested in attending!
